Three Meals for Every Dollar

Every dollar helps us share three meals with our neighbors. We hand out groceries three days a week on East Lancaster Avenue, and from a truck in Stop Six on Wednesdays.

Rain or cold does not cancel a pantry day. If a holiday moves one, it is posted here and on the warehouse door a week ahead.

    Volunteer Shifts

About two hundred people a month give us a morning or an evening. Most come once and come back. You can sign up for a shift in the Volunteer door at the top of this page.

    The Garden

Wednesday evenings from March to November. The half acre behind the warehouse grows greens and squash for the pantry.

    Bring a Group

We host groups of six to twenty on weekday mornings: offices, churches, teams and classes. Kids eight and up can come with a parent on Thursday evenings. Call (817) 555-0163 and we will find a date.

    Ways to Give

Money goes furthest, because we buy food by the truckload at prices a family cannot get. Food you bring in fills the gaps the trucks leave.

    Most Needed This Week

    • Peanut Butter
    • Canned Chicken and Tuna
    • Rice in Two Pound Bags
    • Cooking Oil
    • Cereal Low in Sugar
    • Diapers in Sizes 4 and 5

Drop food at the side door Monday to Saturday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Please, nothing opened or past its date.

    Give Monthly

A monthly gift lets us order produce ahead at a better price. Twenty dollars a month shares 720 meals in a year.

    Run a Food Drive

We lend you collection boxes and pick them up when they are full. Offices and schools usually run two weeks.

    Ask Your Employer to Match

Many employers match gifts to food banks. Your gift goes twice as far for the same dollar.

    Partners

Most of what we hand out comes from people nearby. Farms send what they cannot sell and grocers send what is close to its date. Churches and schools run most of the food drives.
