Lodging

Every lodge is a short walk from the dining hall. Take one lodge for a small group, or take the whole shore. Sheets and towels come with every stay, and the beds are made when you arrive.

Need a screen in the chapel or a stage in the boathouse? Ask. We keep a portable projector and folding tables for 200.

Meals

Our kitchen cooks three meals a day and serves them family style at long tables in the dining hall, or on the lawn when the weather is kind.

Meals are $34 per person per day, or $9 for breakfast, $11 for lunch and $14 for supper. Tell us about allergies when you book and the cook will plan around them. The kitchen always has gluten free and vegetarian plates ready.

Activities

Most of what there is to do here is on the water or under the trees. All of it is free for overnight groups unless it says otherwise.

  • Canoes and Kayaks

    Twelve canoes and twenty kayaks at the boathouse, with life jackets in every size. Boats go out from 8 AM until sunset.

  • Two Trails

    The Shoreline Trail is a flat 1.2 mile loop around the bay. The Ridge Trail climbs 2.4 miles to the overlook.

  • The Fire Ring

    Benches for 80 on the point. We stack the wood and light it at dusk if you ask.

  • Swim Beach

    A sand beach on the bay, open May through September. Lifeguards are $25 an hour, booked a week ahead.

  • Fishing Dock

    Bass and catfish off the point. Bring a Texas fishing license if you are 17 or older.

  • Field and Courts

    A soccer field and a sand volleyball court by the cabins, plus a gaga pit the youth groups never leave.

    Ruth Ann calls you the next business day to talk through rooms and meals.

  3. Walk the Grounds

    Come out for a visit, or we can walk you through it on a video call.

  4. Sign and Confirm

    A 25 percent deposit holds your dates. The rest is due two weeks before you arrive.
